Abstract: "There exists a language that goes beyond words. If I learn to decipher this language I will manage to decipher the world." Verbal communication is and there remains one of the most widely spread forms of human communication. Another form of communication is the non-verbal communication that can be done not only by human beings. This communication is diverse and includes all our physical being. This aspect carries its own importance especially in the context of removing the barriers of communication between peoples. In this work we will present a plurality of gestures bearing similar or different meanings in different countries. This study will be of interest to all Albanian teachers of foreign languages that by conveying these knowledge to the students, in the context of imparting information and cultural formation, will manage to reduce as much as possible the barriers of global communication.

Abstrakti: "Ekziston një gjuhë që shkon përtej fjalëve. Nëse do të mësoj ta dëshifroj këtë gjuhë do t'ia dal të dëshifroj botën." Komunikimi verbal është dhe mbetet një nga format më të përhapura të komunikimit njerëzor. Por ajo ç'ka qëniet njerëzore dhe jo vetëm janë të afta të bëjnë është dhe komunikimi jo verbal. Ky komunikim është i shumëllojshëm dhe përfshin tërë qënien tonë fizike. Ky aspekt ka rëndësinë e tij sidomos në kuadrin e heqjes së barrierave të komunikimit ndërmjet popujve. Ne do të prezantojmë në këtë punim një shumësi gjestesh që në vende të ndryshme kanë kuptime të njëjta ose të ndryshme. Ky studim do të jetë me interes për të gjithë mësuesit e gjuhëve të huaja, të cilët duke ua përcjellë këto njohuri nxënësve, në kuadrin e një informacioni dhe të një formimi kulturor, do të arrijnë të ulin sa më shumë barrierat e komunikimit global.

Ky studim do të jetë me interes për të gjithë mësuesit e gjuhëve të huaja, të cilët duke ua përcjellë këto njohuri nxënësve, në kuadrin e një informacioni dhe të një formimi kulturor, do të arrijnë të ulin sa më shumë barrierat e komunikimit global.
