| Abstract: | This paper deals with the importance of teaching culture together with the language in EFL classes in Albania. It treats the Cultural diversity between Albanian and English language in EFL classes. Culture is seen with curiosity by students. There are many things teachers should consider when including cultural information in their classrooms. Students studying a foreign language, respectively English, extend their linguistic resources, but always keeping the language skills of their language and developing language skills in English which serves them for various reasons, gives the opportunity to make a real appreciation and a cultural exchange with their peers. Apart from the communicative competence, cultural competence can also be developed creating respect toward different cultures and languages as well by the help of the teacher providing activities which develop the communicative competence and enhance culture. |
| Abstrakti: | Në këtë studim trajtohet rëndësia që ka të mësuarit e kulturës si pjesë e të mësuarit të gjuhës angleze në orët e gjuhës angleze në Shqipëri. Ky studim trajton ndryshimet dhe ndikimet kulturore mes gjuhës angleze dhe asaj shqipe. Kultura shihet me kuriozitet nga studentët. shqiptare . Nxënësit duke studiuar një gjuhë të huaj, konkretisht gjuhën angleze, zgjerojnë burimet e tyre gjuhësore por gjithmonë duke ruajtur aftësitë gjuhësore të gjuhës së tyre dhe duke zhvilluar aftësitë gjuhësore në gjuhën angleze e cila u shërben atyre për arsye të ndryshme, u jep mundësinë të bëjnë një vlerësim real dhe një shkëmbim kulturor me moshatarët e tyre. Përveç kompetencave komunikuese, zhvillohet edhe aftësimi kulturor në këtë mënyrë krijohet respekti ndaj kulturave të tjera kjo falë ndihmës së mësuesit që siguron aktivitete të cilat ndihmojnë në zhvillimin e kompetencës komunikuese dhe rritjen e njohurive kulturore. |
