| Title: | FEATURES OF FOREST TERMINOLOGY AS A SPECIFIC FIELD OF KNOWLEDGE |

| Abstract: | Terminology as a lexicon composes the base of the specialized language and it functions as a special subsystem of the Albanian standard language. The forestry terminology as a specific field of knowledge is identified with its distinguishable conceptual system formed in the same ways like in other fields of knowledge, such as semantic, morphological, syntactic ways as well translations in Albanian and borrowings. The use of collocations gives a systematic and hierarchical character to the forestry terminology. The semantic phenomena that appear in this terminology are conditioned by the features that terms have, such as systematicity, preciseness, the existence of one concept, etc. Therefore, we can say that the semantic phenomena like polysemy, homonymy, synonymy emerge even in forestry terminology. Finally, the forestry terminology is completely an Albanian autochthonous lexicon, because its base is the old Albanian language whose words were, later on, raised on terms. |
| Abstrakti: | Terminologjia si leksik përbën bazën e gjuhës së specializuar e cila funksionon si një nënsistem i veçantë i gjuhës standarde shqipe. Terminologjia pyjore si fushë e veçantë e dijes identifikohet dhe mëvetësohet me sistemin e saj të dallueshëm, konceptor, të formuar në rrugë semantike, morfologjike, sintaksore si edhe huazimit dhe shqipërimit. Përdorimi togfjalëshave i jep terminologjisë së pylltarisë një karakter sistemor të lidhur dhe hierarkik. Dukuritë semantike që shfaqen në këtë terminologji kushtëzohen nga vetitë që kanë termat të tilla si sistemësia, përpikëria, njëkuptimësia, etj. Ndaj, mund të themi se edhe në terminologjinë pyjore shfaqen dukuri semantike si polisemia, homonimia sinonimia. Së fundi, leksiku i terminologjisë pyjore është tërësisht leksik autokton shqip, sepse baza e tij është brumi i vjetër i shqipes, fjalët e të cilës më vonë u ngritën në terma. |
