| Title: | HYPERCUBIC SYMMETRY BREAKING EFFECTS ON PI AND RHO MESON MASSES FROM SIMULATIONS WITH MINIMALLY DOUBLED ACTIONS |

| Abstract: | Numerical simulations of lattice QCD are the only tool to gain information on the hadron masses and scattering phases. Lattice gauge theories with fermions are discrete approximations of the theory of strong interactions (QCD). Historically, is been impossible to build a chiral fermions theory, without doubled fermions. Recently, the idea of minimally doubled fermions, which violate the hypercubic symmetry of the lattice operator, has been revived. In this work, we test the hypercubic symmetry breaking effects using Boriçi - Creutz fermions. We compute the mesons masses and compare them with the experimental values. Preliminary results on small volumes (0.8 fm)3 and lattice spacing 0.1 fm, show the expected behaviour within statistical errors, as predicted form the chiral perturbation theory. |
| Abstrakti: | Simulimet numerike të kromodinamikës rrjetore janë mjeti i vetëm për të marrë informacion mbi masat e hadroneve apo fazat e shpërhapjes. Teoritë kalibruese rrjetore me fermione janë përafrime diskrete të teorisë së bashkëveprimeve të forta (QCD). Historikisht ka qënë e pamundur të ndërtohet një teori fermionike kirale pa dublant. Së fundmi, është rigjallëruar ideja e fermioneve me dublim minimal, të cilat thyejnë simetrinë hiperkubike të operatorit rrjetor. Në këtë studim testohen efektet e thyerjes së simetrisë hiperkubike për fermionet kirale Boriçi - Creutz, duke llogaritut masat e pi dhe rho-mezoneve dhe duke i krahasuar drejtpërdrejtë ato me vlerat eksperimentale. Llogaritjet paraprake në vëllime të vogla (0.8 fm)3 dhe konstante rrjete 0.1 fm, tregojnë një sjellje të pritshme brenda gabimeve statistike, të parashikuar nga teoria e perturbimeve kirale. |
